Isaac L. Snyder.
Isaac L. Snyder died at the home of his son, Levi Snyder, in Bloomfield
Township, Friday evening, May 24 (1912), of a complication of diseases
incident to old age. He was born in Morrison's Cove in 1838, and
continuously resided there until the time of his death. He was a member of
the Brethren Church for upwards of fifty years, and was a highly respected
citizen.
He is survived by the following children, his wife having preceded him to
the grave about ten years ago: Mrs. Ferdinand Moore, Mrs. John Snoberger and
Levi Snyder, of Baker's Summit, and Mrs. Howard Baker of Woodbury.
Interment was made in the Holsinger Cemetery on Sunday.

Mrs. L. L. Snyder and son Jay, were visitors at Howard Baker's Sunday
afternoon.
Those from a distance who attended the funeral of Isaac L. Snyder Sunday,
May 26 (1912), were: Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Snyder of Snake Spring Valley, Mr.
and Mrs. Charles Snyder of New Paris, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Snyder of
Reynoldsdale, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Thompson of St. Clairsville, Herbert
Fetter and sister Cora, of Smith's Crossing, Mr. and Mrs. S. S. Rhodes, Mr.
and Mrs. Benjamin Newcomer and Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Law of Curryville, D. B.
Furry and daughter Mrs. Vera Holtzopple, and two children of Altoona, and
Roswell Snyder of Mann's Choice. We tender our sympathy to the children and
friends.

Saturday morning, in Altoona, aged 56 years, four months and six days. She
was born at Maria, this county. She is survived by her husband, one
daughter, three brothers and one sister: Samuel and Isaac Snyder, of Maria;
Charles of Windber and Mrs. Maria Fetters of Smith's Crossing. Interment
was made at New Enterprise Monday afternoon.
