Hi, I have been searching the tax lists on the Bedford site and want to thank someone for putting them there. I am trying to find info on a William Nicholson. I knew he was in Bedford co, Turkeyfoot township, in 1779. I didn't find him there on the 1768 list nor the 1773 list. He was there in 1774 listed as a single freeman. I have thought all along that he married in PA, Bedford co. Are there any marriage records there and where would I look for them.? He was in Ky by middle of 1780's, I believe. There was also a Robert Nicholson there, single freeman , 1774 and a Hugh Nicholson in 1779. Does anyone know anything about these?
