Bedford is a big county, maybe someone one the list would know what paper
covered what part of Bedford, I'm not familiar with the county. Some
newspapers
covered certain areas.
After a quick look at the following site I found:

With this information my library is able to ask for an interlibrary loan
from
the State Library. I have been able to get out of state books sent to my
library,
not sure about microfilm. The link below is a search page for the
