Cornal Calhoun is moving his family to Finalyville in Broad Top township,
near Six Mile Run.
Shannon Harclerode is moving to Rock Hill. Mrs. David Showalters and family
accompanied him.
James Bishop is moving to Charles Gates' house.
Abram Bussard is moving to Mrs. Showalter's house.
William Grove will move to Orbisonia in the near future.
John Dishong will move to Broad Top, soon.
D. S. Garlick has bought the Watson Zimbower property.
Mr. and Mrs. Gettie, of Pittsburg, are visiting Mrs. Gettie's brother,
William Grove.
Mrs. Sweeney returned to her home in McKeesport on Monday. Also Miss
McFarland. SLOGO.

Grandfather Sollenberger is quite poorly.
Mrs. Hiram Hann and little Paul Diehl are among the sick.
Howard Clark can now be found in his new home on the farm of D. W. Dibert.
Mrs. Nellie Welsh, of Friends Cove, is visiting her mother, Mrs. Samuel
Mearkle.
Mrs. Anna Snoberger, of Steeltown, is visiting among the Snowbergers here.
She expects to remain two or three weeks. I MY SELF.

...John S. Bowers, Esq., of Martinsburg, formerly of this place has
been spending some time with friends in Bedford.
David Moses, one of the enterprising farmers of King township, was a
business visitor to the county seat last week.
The Druggists have again entered into an agreement to close their
stores every evening at 8:30
Miss Alice Gilchrist? and Miss Josephine Davidson have returned from a
trip to Cumberland, Md.
Cal Corle, traveling salesman for a Reading cigar firm is visiting
relatives in and around Bedford.
Frank Fletcher, Esq., spent several days last week with home folks in
Monroe township.
Miss Naomi Wendell spent several days visiting at New Paris.
E. F. Kerr, Esq. returned from a business visit to Philadelphia.
B. F. Madore, Esq., returned on Friday morning from the Poor Directors
Convention which convened at Somerset last week. Mr. Madore is solicitor?
for the directors of Bedford county.
Mrs. C. D. Brode entertained a number of friends at her home on Juliana
street Friday evening.
Quite a number of Bedford people attended the funeral of the late
County Commissioner Abram H. Egolf, in Napier township, on Monday.
C. C. Clark, of Mt. Ephraim, New Jersey, shipped a car load of fine
cattle to the eastern markets this week.
John C. Chamberlain, of Everett, spent Sunday in Bedford.
Many out of town people attended the funeral of Wm. Snell.
Wm. J. Minnick left on Sunday afternoon for Pittsburg to serve as juror
in the United States Court.
Henry James has been employed to take charge of a truck and poultry
farm in Blair county. He will take up his residence there.
Thomas R. Cessna, of Iowa, pent some time in Bedford and Friends' Cove
the past week. He is a brother of the Hon. John Cessna.
Oscar D. Doty, cashier of the Everett Bank spent Sunday with friends in
Bedford.
Master Carpenter of the Bedford Division P. R. R. is at the German
Hospital Philadelphia.
