John Gordon of Bedford County, PA was my GGGG Grandfather. He died ca 1798. He could have come to Bedford County from Harford County, MD as a Jonathan Hamilton and a John Gordon, both with wives and children who later show up in Pennsylvania, were living beside each other there prior to the Rev. War.

I have the names of his children as they were listed in John Gordons estate.
Thomas married Mary Iams

Mary married Jonathan Hamilton

John who had children Sarah, Rebecca, Susanne, Elizabeth and John, moved to Ohio

Robert who had children: Sarah, John, Rebecca (married Isaac Dickens),Jeremiah Robert, Jacob, Esther, Absolom who married Charity Perew.

Sarah married Robert Wright

Rebecca married Edward Carne

Elizabeth married John Wigfield

James

Esther who married Isaac Denny.

Absolom, died 20 Nov 1833, bachelor.
