250th Anniversary of the French and Indian War is being celebrated. This is an excellent link

If you click on Embedded Journalist you will be able to register to receive updated reports as events took place in the same time frame as in the war.

Also a reminder for everyone to check the internet for events taking place this year in association with the French and Indian War. Many people are working very hard to provide these events. Please take time to visit some of the activities this year.

There will be an events in Bedford Co. Check websites to be sure of the dates. I am also sure Old Bedford Village will have a re-enactment. Most events I have read so far are in Carlisle, Ft Louden, Bedford Co, Pittsburgh, Ft Niagra, and Fort Ticonderoga. Please support, by attending events, there are so many doing so much work to make this a memory for all of us.
