Jeff,
Did you ever figure out that the parcel in Richmond Twp., Berks
could not possibly be the same land as the parcel in Limerick?
Good luck,
Ann in SC

Yes, am trying to figure out if the following people are related.
Henry REIMERT paid taxes in Berks Co. in 1771 and 1779 on 100 Ac. of
land, 2 horses and 3 head of cattle. In 1784, he is shown as paying
taxes on 100 Ac. of land, 2 horses and 2 head of cattle. This farm is
shown on his will as being in Richmond Twp.
I have not been able to find him on the 1790 Census, but I did find:
1790 Montgomery County (Incorporated in 1784), PA Census:
Name of head of family: Reimer, Henry
Free white males of 16 years and upward, including heads of families: 2
Free white males under 16 years: 2
Free white females, including heads of families: 2
Henrich REINER/REYNER who was taxed in 1734 on 100 acres of land in
Limerick Twp., which would become part of Montgomery Cnty. in 1784
(Part of Philadelphia Cnty. in 1734).----I am trying to prove/disprove
that this Henrich was the father of Henry, and that the land is/is not
the same parcel. Richmond Twp. was not incorporated until 1752 or 1755,
but was settled in 1720. Also trying to find this will:
There is a Henrick REYNER who filed a will in 1749 in Philadelphia
County (File 105, Book I, Page 170).

RIchmond was in Berks in 1790. You'll also find it in the prior Berks
tax lists.
( I think from when Berks was formed). I don't have a map in front of
me, but
several of those townships were larger in the 1700's and had pieces
broken off to
form the newer smaller townships.
I'm not sure when Montgomery Co was formed, but it may have been after
the 1790
census.
Are you wondering if someone in Berks shows up in Montgomery Co (Phila.)
records?
Tim
