Here's what I found:

Anna Catharina,a daughter of Michael & Catharina SCHELL, was baptised
8/26/1759 at New Goshenhoppen Reformed Church, and he's not listed as "the
late" (which they usually are if a parent is dead) Sponsors: Jacob and Anna
Catharina Griesemer.

There's also a Michael SCHELL listed as a witness to the baptism of Johan
Abraham TRANSOU, son of Abraham, June 6, 1731.

There was a Michael SCHELL listed among adults baptised at New Goshenhoppen
by Rev George Michael Weiss between 1748 and 1758.

Oct 11, 1773, a daughter, b. 3/10/1758, of Michael SCHELL was buried from
New Goshenhoppen.

A Michael SCHELL, Jr. was listed among heads of families of the New
Goshenhoppen congregation during the tenure of George Michael Weiss, the
editor gives a probable date of 1758 for the list.

Michael SCHELL and Catharina LAUER m. by Rev George Michael Weiss between
1747 & 1758. They are #28 of some 200 couples, which suggests earlier
rather than later in the period.

Upper Hanover is in Montgomery County, but a lot of Berks County folks went
to the churches there...

hope this helps!
