The source of the "killed by Indians" story is: The Historical and
Biographical Annals of Berks County, Morton L. Montgomery, 1909; Murders in
Berks County, Pennsylvania by Indians in the 1700s. Listed in April 1758
are: "wife and two children of Nicolas Geiger, Tulpehocken."
