Don't want to really drag this virus thing out more than necessary but
additional needs to be said.

First: to Melanie: The virus DID NOT come through the Berks list, the
subject line "Berks Register of Wills" merely indicated that my
address may have been picked off of the Berks Roots-L site as that is
where I posted a message with the same subject line.

Second: We all heard from the real Randall Brunner and know that he had
nothing to do with sending the message containing the possible virus. His
address and name were picked off the Berks list as well.

Just as in a prior message I received with another virus in it, the
senders e-mail address was slightly altered to prevent a warning reply
message from getting back to the person who's name and e-mail were being
used.

Please check the addresses you receive mail from, even if it looks very
familiar, there may be one letter missing, or a known signature phrase that
is not there. If you are the least suspicious delete it and it's file
attachment and alert the real person to the problem. In both cases I've
experienced in the last two weeks the message did not originate from the
address being used and these people had no idea a bogus form of
their addresses was being used. And if you are an Explorer user, check
your Word files for anything you didn't put there.
