Nelson,
Thanks for trying. The Goshenhoppen Register contains the records of what is now "The Most Blessed Sacrament" Romann Catholic Church in Bally, Washington Township, Berks County, Pa. When the Chapel was started by a German Jesuit, Father Schneider, in 1741, the area was known as Goshenhoppen. This was his home base as he traveled through several counties serving the faithful. Usually a Baptism or Marriage will indicate the name of a home of one of the faithful where the ceremony took place. Several entries in these records, list "Mt. Olivet" instead of a person's home. I'm pretty sure this is in Berks County - thought someone could tell me exactly where.
Regards,
Leon F. Borst
Chester County, Pa.
