I have the page of death notices from the Reading Eagle dated August 21,
1885, because my ancestor is listed there. The death notices on that page
are as follows:
WEYANT--In Exeter township, on the 19th inst., Washington Weyant, aged 43
years. The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to
attend the funeral without further notice, from his late residence, on Monday
morning at 9 o'clock at the house. Services and interment at Schwartzwald
church.
NUNEMACHER--Aug. 20, Maria Nunemacher, widow of Michael H. Nunemacher, dec'd,
at the age of 79 years, 8 months, and 21 days. The funeral will take place
on Tuesday, Aug. 25th at 9:30 o'clock in the forenoon, from the late
residence of deceeased, No. 122 South 2d street, to proceed to Charles Evans
cemetery. Services at the house. Relatives and friends of the family are
respectfully invited to attend.
MABARY--In this city on the 19th inst., Elizabeth nee EHRGOOD, widow of
Samuel Mabary, in the 83d year of her age. The relatives and friends of the
family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the residence of
her son-in-law, Richard MEELOY, 715 Laurel Street, on Sunday afternoon at 2
o'clock. Services at St. John's Lutheran Chapel, interment at German
Lutheran cemetery.
YOUNG--In this city, on the 19th inst., Daniel K. Young, aged 65 years, 1
month and 7 days. The relatives and friends of the fmaily are respectfully
invited to attend the funeral without further notice from his late residence,
1044 Franklin street, on Monday afternoon, at 1 o'clock. Services at the 1st
Reformed Church; interment at Charles Evans Cemetery.
WEBER--In this city, on the 18th inst., Valentine Weber, aged 31 years, 10
months and 23 days. The relatives and friends of the family, Samaritan
Lodge, No. 32, A. O. G. F., and employees of the Penn Hardware Works, are
respectfully invited to attend the funeral from his late residence, 236 Cedar
street, on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Services at St. John's German
Lutheran church. Interment at Germany Lutheran cemetery.
Husband and father dear has passed away,
And left us here to dwell,
The sorrow of our aching heartsm
There are none but us can tell
Gone to meet his children.
