Hi all,
Just a side light on this type of situation.
The revered Rev Thomas Hooker who led his congregation from Cambridge
to found Hartford, Ct was buried in the old Hartford cemetery. Some 200
years later a corner of the "Ancient Burying Ground" was selected as the
site for a new church building. None of the occupants were moved, and no

memorial marked was set up for those in that section.
There is a tablet on the exterior wall of the church which says that
Rev
Hooker's remains are probably under the corner of the church. Even that
appears to be uncertain- and he was the founder and first minister of
the
church.
