I find that the Obold family was in Reading, PA off and on.

Can anyone tell me how the name "Obold" correctly pronounced? I read
somewhere on the internet that it's pronounced "Uphold". I must tell you
I'm afraid to pronounce it.

My ggg grandfather Jacob Noel married Barbara Anna Obold. Her father was
Sebastian Obold. This is in the Conewago church records. However, another
place I found that Sebastian Obold, son-in-law of Blacius Noel, ...... Are
there two Sebastian Obolds? Jacob's father was Blacius Noel. This
relationship has me completely confused.

Some of this information I found on Dominic Noel's web site. Is there a
GOOD source for finding info on the Obold family?
