I found this in Berks Co Births 1710-1780 by John T Humphrey, pub 1997, p
106:

Johannes GERMAN, born 12/28/1753 to Joh. Jacob and Maria Catharina; bapt at
Christ Lutheran Church, Stouchburg, Marion Twp, baptismal register began
1743.

Marriages at same church:
John Jacob GERMAN married Maria Catharine GAST on 3/8/1750.
Souce: Marriages Berks Co, vol 2, 1730-1800, HP Publishing, pub 1987, p 3


In 1767 tax list there was Adam GERMAN, Bern, farmer 50 acres.
In 1784 tax list for Berks Co., John GERMAN, smith, in Middletown - no
land/1 cow.
