to Dorcas Garrison in Mecklenburg Co., NC or York Dist., SC. He was born
23 Nov 1756 on the line between PA and MD.

John, DE and PA Line, applied 1819 in Ohio aged 76, enlisted at
Hannastown, PA., wife Polly

John, PA Line, applied in 1832 in Clark County, KY aged 66 on 8 Aug.
last. Lived in Lancaster Co., PA

Thomas,PA Line, applied 1847 Jackson Co. IN aged 94y 10m, lived in
Lancaster Co., PA at enlistment, born 1752 in Ireland, came to America
in 1777, soldier's son John H. Alexander states his father died 10 Aug
1849 whose wife had died 20 or more years ealier, her maiden name was
Sally King

birth and came to this county in 1814. Members of the Presbyterian
Church.

John Alexander, the grandfather of John A., was the father of 6; Thomas,

John2, the father of John A., was born in 1803, in 1829 he married Susan
Zoracher of Lancaster, and he died 1877. They had 7 children; Maris who
died in the Civil war, Martha, the wife of Amos Walton, of Fulton
township, Mary A., wife of Lewis Jenkins, Samuel, Rebecca J., wife of
Harry Marsh, of Lancaster, John A., and Calvin

On Dec 24, 1874, John A., married Lydia A. Eshleman, who was born May 5,
1853, d/o Benjamin and Catharine (Harnish), of Conestoga township.
