Kriebel family-Schwenkfelders (Berks Co.History)
I. Caper Kriebel, ancestor, who came from Silesia, Germany, located in
Towmamensing, Montgomery Co.

II.Abraham Kriebel, son of Casper, was born in PA, Oct. 8, 1736. He did
Jan. 30, 1801. In 1762 he married Susanna, d/o George Schultz, and she
died in 1820. Children; Christian (1764-1812) and Andrew.

III. Andrew Kriebel, son Abraham, and Susanna, was born Oct.5, 1765,and
died Oct 15, 1853. He married Maria, d/o George Heebner. She died in
1857, in her 85th year. Children; Lydia, Daniel, George, Hannah,
Abraham, Susanna, Sophia.

II. Rev.George, son of Casper, was born in Saxony, Germany, Nov. 3,
1732. He died Dec. 1, 1805. He married Anna, d/o "Blathasser" Anders,
and she died in 1822, Lower Milford, Lehigh county, Children; Abraham,
born 1760, Susanna, born 1761, Jacob, 1764, and Anna, 1766

III. Abraham, son of Rev. George, born May, 1760, lived in Hosensack. In
1784 he married Salome Yeakel, who died in 1815. Children; Benjamin,
Lydia, Daniel, Jacob, Anthony, Jonathan, Sophia, Anna, Samuel, Susanna,
and Rachel.

IV. Jonathan, son of Abraham, was born May 5, 1795, died April 10, 1873.
On April 22, 1820, he married Anna, d/o George Heydrick, and she died in
1836. Children; George (1821-1821), Charles, (1828-1833) and Abraham.

V. Abraham, son of Jonathan, was born in Lower Milford, Lehigh County,
Aug 22, 1833. He is buried at Washington Schwenkfelder Church. On Nov.
27, 1845, he married Regina Schultz, d/o Matthias. Children; Charles,
Sarah, never married, Jonas S., Samuel, born 1854, died 1860, John,
William, born 1861, and a daughter that died in infancy.

VI. Jonas S., son of Abraham, was born in Dougless township, Montgomery
County, Aug 19, 1848. On Jan 8, 1876, he married Annie H. Krauss, d/o
Aaron Krauss. Children; Harvey, Minerva, Alice, who married Harry Huber,
of Norristown, Mary, Amanda, who married George Gerhart, Adaline, Edna,
Annie,Oswin, and Irene.

Kriebel Family History

I. George Kriebel, came to PA in 1734, member of the Schwenkfelders, who
emigrated from Silesa, Germany. On Nov 25, 1740, he married Susanna
Kriebel, d.o Balthaser and Regina (Yeakel) Kriebel, and they had,
George, born July 11, 1744, and Andrew, Sept 17, 1748. George Kriebel
died Sept 2, 1778, and Susanna, his wife died Sept 14, 1775

II. George son of George, born July 11,1744, was killed by a stone
falling on his head while cleaning out his well. He married Esther, d/o
George Weigner, and she died Feb. 13,1816. Children; Christoper, born
1774 died 1779, George 1777-1779, Christoper2 born Oct 8, 1779 and
Susanna, born 1782, died 1789

III Christoper2, son of George, born Oct 8, 1779, died Sept 12, 1822. He
married Regina, widow of Isaac Kriebel, and a d/o Rev. Melchoir Schultz.
She died Feb 28, 1870. Children; Susanna, born 1808, died 1875 and
Bathsheba, born 1819.

II. Andrew. son of George, married May 6, 1771 to Susanna, d/o Abraham
Yeakel. She died April 22, 1808, Children; Rosanna, born 1773, married
1818 to Daniel Diehl, Abraham born 1774, Samuel born 1776, George, 1778,
died 1779, Regina, born June 25, 1780, David, born July 19, 1783,
Sophia, born 1785, Salome, born Dec 9, 1787, and Israel, 1790.

III. Abraham, son of Andrew, was born Sept. 27, 1774, he died April 7,
1844. On June 4, 1801, he married Christiana, d/o Abraham Kriebel.
Children; Sophia, Isaac, Maria, Catharine, Sophia2, Anna and Sarah

III Samuel, son of Andrew, born June 13, 1776, died July 1, 1842,
married May 24, 1810, he married Christina, d/o Melchoir, and she died
April 19, 1819, Children; Sarah, Susanna, Lydia, Elizabeth and William.
He married 2nd to Catharine d.o Henry Leatherback, Children; Sophia

Kriebel, Howard Wiegner, son of Henry (Israel) and Sarah nee Schultz
Kriebel, and Mary Anna Weigner ( Jacob and Rosana nee Yeakel. Wiegner)
born in Hereford township..

Kriebel, Casper and his wife Susanna, came to PA in 1734. Their children
were George born in Saxony, Germany 1732, Abraham, 1736, Susanna married
Casper Kriebel, he was a descendant of Abraham Kriebel.

Rev. George Kriebel, son of Casper, married Anna, d/o Balthaser Anders,
on Oct 11, 1758; Children; Abraham, Susanna, Jacob, and Anna.
Abraham Kriebel, son of George, married Salome Yeakel on April 26, 1784.
Children; Benjamin, born 1785. Lydia, Daniel, Jacob, Anthony, Jonathan,
Sophia, Anna, Samuel, Susanna, and Rachel

Benjamin son of Abraham, married Catharine , d;o Melchoir Yeakel in
1813. Children, Agnes, Gideon, Judith, Maria and Isaac.

Isaac, son of Benjamin, born Oct 19, 1825, died Oct 20, 1863, of Lower
Milford, he was interred at Zionsville, Pa. He married Sarah "Wiand".
Children; Benjamin Franlin, Daniel, Mary who died young.

Benjamin Franklin, son of Isaac, was born in Lower Milford, Feb 13,
1854. He married Jan 1, 1880 to Emma R. Gilbert, d/o Matthias and Mary
B. (Rink) Gilbert. Children, Estella M., who married Robert Westerman,
of Allentown (children, Marion, Millard W., Noel B., and Christian L.),
and Charles Theodore of Michigan.

Schultz-Schwenkfelder
Balthaser Schultz. son of Melchior, was born in 1682, Saxony Germany, he
married Susanna Dieterich, and she with her four children accompanied
about 40 other follower of Casper Schwenkfelder to America in 1734.
Children; George, Susanna, Maria, and Barbara.


George Schultz, son of Balthaser, was born about Candlemas, in 1710, and
died March 21, 1784 in Upper Hanover township, Montgomery County. He
married Anna Hoffman, d/o Rev. Balthaser Hoffman, in 1737, she died Jan
16, 1796. Children; Susanna, Balthaser, Christoper, Ursula, Gregory and
Eve.

Balthaser, son of George was born April 23, 1744, he died in Upper
Hanover township, on the Hosensack creek, April 12, 1813. In 1768 he
married Anna Yeakel, d/o Balthaser Yeakel, and she died in 1799.
Children; Matthias, David, Susanna, and Rosina.

David, son of Balthaser, was born Nov. 23, 1779, making his home in
Upper Hanover, In 1807, he married Lydia Yeakel, d/o Christopher Yeakel,
and she died July 5, 1843, he died April 7, 1851. Children; Joshuia,
Reuben and Rebecca, born 1814 and died 1872.

Rev. Joshua, son of David and Lydia (Yeakel), was born Sept. 11,
1808,died March 31, 1891, while on the pulpit of the Schwenkfeler
Meeting House at Kraussdale, Hosensack. He married to Anna Schultz,
(1812-1871) d/o Andrew Sr., of Washington township. Children; Mary,
married Henry K. Urffer, of Hereford, Manoah S., of Hereford,Joshua,
born 1851 and Samuel S.

Samuel S. son of Rev. Joshua, was born near Chapel, April 16, 1852. In
1876 he married Amanda Roberts, d/o Everhart Roberts. Children; Ida,
married Allen Heistand, of Hereford, Allen R., of Palmerton, Carbon
County, Clara, Mabel L., who married Charles Graber, J. Willis and Leo
A.
