Layton, Joseph, son of Israel, was born Oct 20, 1820 in Lehigh County.
He died Sept 14, 1907. He married Elvian Schankweiler, d/o Jacob and
Mary (Falk) Schankweiler, she was born Aug 20, 1824, and died June 26,
1891. Children; Mary A., married B.L. Gaumer, Samuel, died as a baby,
James of Allentown, George, died as a baby, Ellen married 1st Charles D.
Baldy, 2nd Uriah Henry, Clement M., of Newside, Oscara A., of
Allentowns, Ida, married W. F. Fink, Rev. John T., Emma A., who married
Robert Draher, Victor A., of Allentown.

Lehr, Horace, 2nd son of Joseph, married Mary K. Knapperberger. She was
born Aug 6, 1840 and died Nov 11, 1889. Children; William C., and Sarah
F., the wife of Alin Bierman.

Leiby,Johann Freiderick, was born May 18, 1779, his wife, Christiana
Brobst, d/o Daniel. Their son, Reuben, born July 14, 1814, Jacob F.,
Isaac settled in Ohio, Samuel of Lynn township, Catharine married
Michael Kistler, Rebecca married Charles HARNIG, Elizabeth, married
Benjamin Reinhard, Polly marrried John Dietrich, Sally Ann, married
Jacob FRey.

Lenker, John Adam Jr., was born Aug 14, 1789, and died Oct 13, 1861. He
lived in Lower Mahanony township. His wife was Maria M. Bobb, both are
buried at Stone-valley. Their daughter. Lydia married John Wetzel.

Lichtenwalner, Peter, son of Johannes2, of Fogelsville, March 24, 1778.
He died June 25, 1851. He married Susanna Oswald, they had 7 children.

Lichty, Abraham D., oldest son of David, was born May 5, 1804, in 1825
he married Rebecca Dietrich, born Oct 11,1805, died Nov 9, 1886, She was
the d./o John Adam and granddaughter of Johannes Dietrich, the latter
having emigrated in 1751. Abraham, died at Krumsville, Dec 17, 1858..
Their son, Lewis married Catharine Oswald.

Marks, John, son of Gideon, was born May 25, 1841, he married Emma d/o
Jacob Held. She died April 21, 1913, aged 70y 9m 6d, she is buried at
Cedarville. Children; Ella C., Oliver J., Clara, married Henry
Schlenker, Lillie, John, Collie, married J. Knappenberger, George,
Charles, Annie S. E., married Charles Albright.

Miller, John, married Susanna Hill of Hilltown in S, White Hall. Married
before 1801.

Ritter, Martin, son of Henry, was born Nov 10, 1749, and died Nov 2,
1827. He married Jan 11, 1774 to Anna Margaret Steininger, who was born
Jan 11, 1752 and died Aug 4, 1838. Children, Henry, born 1779, married
Lydia Knappenberger.

Romig, John, 6th son of John Christian, was born Feb 22, 1779. He was a
farmer in Lower Macungie, He married Mary Larash, was born Jan 21, 1792
and died March 3, 1872, their 7th child, Anna Maria, born May 13, 1833,
married Henry Hill.

Ross, George J., the eldest son of Phaon J., was born in Weisenberg
township, Feb 14, 1875, he married Dec 25, 1898 to Emma Bitting, d/o
Joel and Messina (Fink) Bitting.

Roth, John Jacob, son of John, was born May 8, 1795, died Sept 29, 1875.
On Jan 5, 1823, he married Anna Margaret Schreiber, born Jan 24, 1804,
and died July 16, 1883. They had 10 children, one of whom, Malvian, born
May 17, 1828, married 1st to ____ Frankenfield, 2nd to George Weitzel.


Schantz. John, son of John and Maria Magdalena, was born March 9, 1819,
died Dec 3, 1865. and was buried at Unionville church. In 1846, he
married Eliza, d/o Peter Meyer and his wife Catharine (Gangawere), she
was born in Whitehall township, Oct 6, 1815, and died at Allentown, Feb.
18, 1899

Schmoyer,the name has been written-Schmyer, Schmeir, Schmeyer,
Schmoyer,Smoyer.
Daniel Schmeier, son of Philip and Maria Catharine, was born in Macungie
township, Bucks County, about 1738 or 39. He is said to have been
married twice, the first being Elizabeth Scherer, their son John born
July 20, 1779, married Sarah Weitzel, no issue.

Benjamin Schmeyer, son of Daniel and Catharine Barbara, was born in
Macungie township, Northampton county, Oct 25, 1793. Their daughter,
Anna Maria, married Caspar Hinkle.

Smith, Joshua, youngest son of Christian "Schmidt" of Lynn township.
Jacobs cngregation at Jacksonville. He wife was Lydia Wagaman, and
their daughter, Elizabeth married Charles Oswald.

William Smith, the eldest son of Joshua, was born Oct 12, 1834, he
married Cathaine Kistler, d/o Nathan and Elizabeth (Dietrich) Kistler,
born June 27, 1837 and died Sept 11, 1883, their daughter Messena
married Charles S. Oswald.

Wertman, Andreas, born Oct 10, 1784, died Dec 25, 1822 in Lynn township.
His wife was Maria Brobst, born in 1787 and died 1872. Their daughter,
Salome married ____ Hinkel.

White, Olver Franklin, son of George and Hattie (Brown) White, born in
N. Whitehall township, Lehigh County, June 6, 1842. Mr White in 1866,
married Elizabeth K. Wienand, d/o Rev. Daniel Wiegand. Rev John F.
White, son of Oliver and Elizabeth, married Annie Oswald, of Allentown,
Children; John, Paul and Ernest.
