Subject: [PABERKS] Diary of David SCHOLZ

The Winter 2003, V. 24, No. 2, of the Journal of the Berks County Gen. Soc.,
pp. 22-23, features the article of "The LAUER/LOWER Family," by Jack Akerbom.
This article gives some entries from the diary of David SCHOLZ, of the
"Pennsylvania Merchant" voyage, June 28, 1733 - September 29, 1733. My ancestor
Michael KELCHNER was on this ship. David SCHOLTZ/SHULTZE was one of thirteen
known Schwenkfelders on board, as well as his cousin [Rev.] Christopher
SCHOLTZ/SHULTZE.

I am interested in reading the rest of David SCHOLZ's Diary where it pertains
to his voyage on the Pennsylvania Merchant. Two volumes of, "The Journals
and Papers of David Schultze, 1726-1797", were just auctioned on E-bay, which
ended January 2, 2004. The auction closed before I was aware they were for sale
on E-bay. There were only a limited 500 copies printed in 1952 by Andrew
BERKY, who was then director of the Schwenkfelder library in Pennsburg, PA.

Thanks so much,
Diane Slagle Sheridan
