I have juist joined this web site. I am trying to trace my Samuel Dunmire found in Cumberland Co. in 1835. I think his family was part of the Dormeyer migration from Alsace. They were in Northampton in l860's. Berks and Lebanon counties would seem to me the most direct route to crossing Susquehanna at Harrisburg.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!
