I recently purchased a lot of old pictures at a Berks auction which included
a large baby portrait, probably taken after Baptism, and the name of the
child is written on the back. I also bought a picture frame with a Baptism
certificate within. It works out to be for the same child as the portrait
print, namely Elizabeth Caroline Wertz, b. 28 Sep 1902 in Spring Twp., Berks
Co., and Baptised 30 Jan 1903 at the parents Shillington home. Parents named
as John W. Wertz and his wife Florence Fisher were sponsors. Baptism by
Pastor Marvin Harold Stettler.
