Michelle,
As you are researching descendants of your ancestor, Johann George Heckman,
I am also researching all descendants of my ancestor, Johannes George
Rentschler. One of his grandsons, David G. Rentschler married Catharine
Heckman. She was born 27 May 1828 and died 18 Jun 1894. She is buried in
the old cemetery at St. Michael's Church in Tilden Twp. Do you have her in
your Heckman files? I'd love to know the names of her parents. Her birth
is not documented in the records of St. Michael's so her family must have
attended church elsewhere when she was born - or else it didn't get
recorded. David and Catharine's children were: Franklin H. b. 1854;
Benjamin H. b. 1857; Albert H. b. 1860; Catharine A. b. 1862; Charles Wilson
b. 1864; Jeremiah b.c1864 (twin of Charles?); Davilla b. 1866 and William
Henry b. 1869. My guess is Franklin, Benjamin and Albert's middle names
were Heckman, but they seem to have broken the pattern after the first
three.

I have lots of information on descendants, but nothing about Catharine.

Thanks for any help you can provide.
