The tax records for Blair county begin in 1846. The Blair County
Genealogical Society has published a book for the this year- 1846
(only). To research the remaining records- you will need to go to the
Blair County Court House (Hollidaysburg, PA) and you will find them
stacked in a hallway of one of the basements...

I am hoping that one of these days the county will microfilm them and
send the orginals to the genealogical society- so we don't loose this
valuble source of genealogical material...[original land records etc.
are on indefinate loan to the society following microfilming...
