I found a great site yesterday on Women's History and it links to many other
great sites. It is
<A HREF="http://home.earthlink.net/~womenwhist/resources.html">Women in World
History Curriculum's Favorite ...</A>

I found some wonderful biographies of Women Heroes in the time of the Crusades
who also happen to be my ancestors and are yours too if you know of any royal
lines, and probably even if you don't know.

There are pages linking to information about the Witch Trials and a page with
all the know executions in this country - I could not get that one to open
though and I wanted to make sure my Rebecca (real name unknown) ( married
names-Elston Mudge Greensmith) was listed. I will try again later. Lots of
good stuff to explore.

Until I got into genealogy I never understood the need for Women's History as
a separate study, but having discovered they were largely left out in the
first draft, it is a wonderful resource to find so much research in the area
now. It helps us connect to them in ways we could not without their life
stories.

Have fun, Joyce M. Tice <A HREF="http://www.rootsweb.com/~srgp/jmtindex.htm">;
