Subject: Surnames Lent and Dorsett

I have recently discovered that my ancestors migrated to Tioga County,
Richmond Township, around 1830, from New York. Surnames are Lent and
Dorsett. I would appreciate any information anyone has on these two
families. Also, I see there was a dam project, the Tioga Hammond
project, built in the area. What effect did it have on Richmond
Township? Thanks.
