Subject: Update - Things are looking better

I finally have my computer equipment working again - so far - knock on wood.
So I have managed to update the query and surname listings for all three
counties through March 31 and will catch up with April ASAP/ Thanks to all for
your patience while I lagged so far behind. Not one of you complained - good
folks.

I have had several notices this week of URLs not found but have checked them
out and all are fine. Rootsweb has reported some problems with performance and
since lal my pages are resident there, that is probably the source of the
difficulties. Once again - for any of you who have trouble loading some of the
pages because of lower powered machines and too many graphics, turn off the
graphics. This can be done in AOL and probably some of the other providers as
well.

I started (trying to) catching up on some of the material you have typed and
submitted. I am starting with the remainder of the existing Bible records that
Ina typed from Rhoda's collection. Once they are done I do want to encourage
all of you to submit your Bible records. Since putting this on over a year ago
only about four or five people have submitted records and surely more of you
than that have some available that relate to this area. Looking forward to
your submissions.

For any of you to whom I have promised something I have not delievered, just
remind me. Sometimes I get really swamped and requests get buried under the
newer ones and eventually get lost in the shuffle. Having so many computer
problems over the past few months has made it all much worse.
