Bill,
I don't know where Buriel Permits would be in Chemung Co.
In Tioga Co. NY the Town of Barton has their permits in the Town Clerk's
office.
I was looking through them for the death date of my grandmother in early
1900's.
Then I could get her death certificate. But Chemung Co. is different on
a lot of things.
If you would tell us whom you found and where then maybe one of us here
in the county
could help you.
