Hi Edna,
According to our cemetery book here are the directions. From Van Etten
you would take Rte 224 West to a left on the Marsh Rd. which leads one to
the hamlet of Hicks. At the "Forks", previously known as Mitchell
Corners, go west a short distance to the cemetery. There were noted a
number of burials without any stones and a few with marked with field
stones that are of course unreadable at this time. I don't know the
condition of the cemetery now it was becoming over grown with locust
trees a number of years ago. According to state law the towns are
responsible for keeping this cemeteries mowed but a lot of towns do not
adhere to this law. Thank goodness Erin does so I hope they have cleaned
up the cemetery. I haven't be over by there in a long time.
I am also sending this to the list in case anyone else is wondering where
this cemetery is.
This there anything else that I can help you with please let me know.
