Hi,

I am looking for information on the CAULEY and RONEY families who lived in
Bucks County during and after the Revolution. The Cauleys lived near the
line between Bucks and Northampton counties, I believe. When Northampton
was split off, some of the CAULEYs were in Bucks and some in Northampton --
according to family legend.

Thomas CAULEY d. 1806 Bucks/Northampton County
his wife, was
Sarah CAVENDER d. 1829 in Bucks/Norhtampton
Ch:Jesse, John, Thomas, James, Sarah
1790 Census - Lower Saucon Twp, Northampton

On various censuses they or the enumerators spelled name many ways:
CALLEY, CAWLEY, CALLY, CAUGHLEY

John RONEY, farmer in Newton Twp., Bucks
1800 Census Bucks #309 01101-02110-00
1820 Census Northampton Twp, Bucks #309

John Cauley m. Mary Roney Dec. 17, 1801
in farmhouse of father, John Roney, Newton Twp.
Marriage Rcds of Isaac Hicks, Bucks Co.
and my ancestors,
Jesse Cauley m. Margaret Roney
Jesse b 1786 in Bucks d. 1840 in Union Co., Pa.
Mary b.1790 Bucks, d. 1840 in Union Co., Pa.

Any help on filling the spaces would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Charles Cawley
