The Neshaminy Creek runs through Bucks County, roughly North to South.
It goes through Middletown Twp. which includes modern day Langhorne.
Middletown Monthly Meeting is a little east of the creek in Langhorne.
The land that the meeting house is on was donated to the meeting by my
ancestor Thomas Stackhouse, Jr. He also built the first meeting house
there and is buried in the grave yard.
All of lower Bucks County was a Quaker "settlement".
The meeting is still active.

Does anyone know is there was a Quaker settlement or at least a meeting house
at Neshaminy? Also, are there any book, CDs, or web sites dealing with
Quakers in Pa., esp. Bucks Co.? thanks Bev
