The HISTORY OF BUCKS COUNTY mentions that Hampton Rice was a member
of:

#1- Solebury Farmers Club
#2 - Doylestown Lodge, No. 245, F, and A.M., and of
Paunaucussing Lodge, K. of P., at Carversville.
#3- He was also a member of the Society of Friends.

Can anyone shed light on item #2? What is all of that? Would there
be any info that survived the times from these organizations that could
shed any light on Mr. Rice's ancestry?
