Subject: [PABUCKS-L] Help with 1979 Doylestown obit please
Date: Wed, 27 Feb 2002 21:34:30 -0500
Hi all,
I am new to this list and am in need of some help. I have found a
William and Sadie PALMER buried at Fernwood in Philadelphia with my
great grand aunt Sarah GREENHALGH nee WOLSTENHOLME. I found them on the
1920 census this evening with son Thomas H. PALMER, age 12. In looking
at the SSDI, I found a Thomas PALMER born in 1907 who may be the same
person.
I am hopeful someone can help me out in looking to see if there might be
an obit for Thomas PALMER who died in Doylestown in March 1979. I am
very hopeful this is the same man - as I had 'lost' this part of my
family tree until the discovery of the graves at Fernwood. Sadie's
father died when she was just a toddler in 1893 and I have no idea what
happened to her mother or brother, though she appears to have been
adopted as I find her in 1900 with a couple as their daughter and again
in 1910. I would love to find a long lost cousin on this line - as they
had the family bible based on the Civil War pension affidavit for my
ancestor.
Thanks so much for any help,
Georgeanne in Georgia
