I have been researching the 128th Pa for several years. The 128th were recruited from Bucks, Berks and Lehigh Counties. I recently purchased some papers belonging to George W. Conard. I purchased the papers from someone who found them among her mother's things after she died. The owner doesn't recognize the Conard name in her family. I am trying to learn more about how Conard's papers ended up in Maine. I don't know much about him. He is buried in Doylestown Cemetery, born in 1840 and died in 1929.
