My name is Richard James. I'm gathering information on my direct line of
Paxson's. I have visited many locations including the Friends Historical
Library at Swarthmore college

I'm hoping to meet any other researchers for Jacob Paxson who died July 13
1832 and is buried in the Abington Friends cemetery Abington Township
Montgomery County. He was 86 years 10 months. His wife Mary Shaw died October 17
1814 and is also buried at the same cemetery. She was about 55. (Source:
Abington Friends Minutes at the Swarthmore Friends Historical Library, Swarthmore
College). My ancestors also include Elizabeth Ayres and James Comly.

2nd generation Oliver Paxson b 1799 died December 12 1866
3rd generation Jacob Canby Paxson b June 25th 1840 d April 2 1892
Note Jacob Canby Paxson's wife Eliza Paxson was the granddaughter of James
Comly and Elizabeth Ayres
4th generation Edward E. Paxson b December 171865 d February 26 1899
5th generation Christian Edward Paxson b March 23 1890 d May 28 1957
6th generation Elizabeth Martha Paxson b November 7th 1912 d December 13 1970
