This is a different Jane Hockenberry ... the one I am looking for married
Henry Albert and is my g-g-grandmother. I now believe that she is probably
the daughter of Joseph Hockenberry, b: 1786, who is probably the son of
John and Hannah, and the brother of Caspar and Jane. Joseph is found
living nearby in Centre Township on the 1850 census. Also, laid to rest
next to Joseph, in the cemetery at the Emmanuel Lutheran in Prospect, is
Jane and Henry's infant son Alfred W Albert.
