Thank you for looking through your files. I visited the White Oaks church on
Rt. 68 in May of last year. I found the graves of my Joseph Brown Dodds,
(1834 - 1885) and wife Margaret J. Dodds (1842 - 1908). So far, I have not
found a connection for my Dodds to any other Dodds in Butler. I guess I just
haven't found the right people yet. I also found my William J. Hilliard and
wife Jennie L. (Dodds) Hilliard at White Oak. In the back of the church I
found Albert B. Hilliard (1875-1957), as well as Estella S. Hilliard
(1880-1937), Stanley B. Hilliard (1903-1924), Helen (1918-2000) & Albert
(1917-1985) Hilliard. Albert B. Hilliard was the Hilliard raised by William &
Jennie Hilliard and listed as a nephew in 1900 Census.

I have pictures of all the gravestones. I have lived in Dunkirk, MD for 23
years and the Washington, D.C. area for 35 years. However, I was born and
raised in the Butler area. My father Harold L. Hilliard still resides in
Connoquenessing. My uncle William "Bill" Hilliard of Connoquenessing
remembers that Janet Albert lived in the house next to the big house built by
Joseph Brown Dodds, my gg grandfather.
