Here are some more obits: WEAVER-Abram, 86 Church of the Brethren Home,
Scalp Level, formerly of 525 Hoffman Ave., died April 4, 1974, at the home.
Born Dec. 23, 1887, in Richland Township, son of Jonas A. and Mary Jane
(SHAFFER) WEAVER. Preceded in death by parents, six brothers and two
sisters. Survived by widow, former Cletus KNAVEL, and these children:
Evelyn, wife of Al SERGOTT, Wynnewood, PA., Mrs. Verna KNUPP, Somerset;
Emmert, married to former Anna HOOVER, Windber; Kenneth R., married to
Gladys METZKER, Martinsburg, PA.; Edith, wife of Arthur WEINER, Princeton,
NJ, Gladys, Hyattsville, Md.; Virginia, wife of Kenneth FEGLEY, Paoli, Pa;
Marion, wife of Robert BELL, Chestnut Hill, Mass., Esther, wife of Mahlon
SHOUP, Ellington, Conn., and Edwin, married to former Wynelle MCGEE,
Huntsville, Ala, also 20 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Brother of
Quinter, Windber, and Joseph, Livonia, Mich. Member of Scalp Level Church
of the Brethren. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at
Marlin G. Meek Funeral Home, Windber, where service will be held at 1 p.m.
Sunday, the Rev. James Daughtry. Interment, Berkey Cemetery, Windber. In
lieu of flowers, family request donations to Church of the Brethren Home
Building Fund.

I am NOT related to this WEAVER that I know of but collected this in my
research over the years. I AM related to the MEEK (Funeral Home) by
marriage. Thought maybe someone could use this. In connection with the
above obit, a relative sent me the following in 1977, this was given to her
by a WEAVER family member, but did not seem to be my WEAVER. Hope someone
can use it.

Jacob 1849-1925 m. Lovina HOFFMAN, 1855-1942. Berkey.
Hiram 1853-1906, m. Frances REED, 1856-1930, Berkey.
Jonas 1806-1930, m. Mary Jane SHAFFER, 1861-1932, Berkey
Mary, m. Henry HASTETLER,
Susan m. Isaac SHAFFER
Abraham buried with parents
Lircindi, m. MILLER, buried with parents
Abraham and Elizabeth first interredin home farm near Scalp on farm known as
Jonas WEAVER farm but reinterred in Berkey cemetery. He was the son of
Abraham and Christina KAUFFMAN and grandson of JACOB WEAVER, who emigrated
from Bavaria, was a Mennonite and appretly served in the revolution.
Abraham's wives Elizabeth and Susan were sisters and daughters of Jacob and
Susan (ULLERY) Stutzman. Susan was the widow of John KNAVEL.

There is much more to this if you want it?????Let me know. I can not prove
or disprove that these are MY Weavers.
