Writeup in Biographical and Portrait Cyclopedia of Cambria Cty describes the
Kinkead family:

George Kinkead was a lockkeeper on the old Pennsylvania canal, who lived
originally in Centre County, but died near Blairsville, Indiana County.

Harrison Kinkead was born in Milesburg, Centre Cty, Oct 13, 1814 and died
Oct 1892. He learned the trade of saddle and harness maker following it in
Ebensburg from the time he came there in 1835 to within twenty years of his
death. He married Pamela Stewart, daughter of Alexander Stewart, native of
Scotland and an early settler of Indiana County.

His family consisted of five boys and six girls: George A., James
N.(deceased), Maria L., Pamela Jane (wife of A.Y. Jones of Renova, PA);
Susan H.; David H., who now lives in Johnstown and has charge of Phoenix
Brewing Company; Anna Olivia (wife of Fergus Lloyd, amerchant of Ebensburg);
the remainder died in infancy.
