I'm searching for kin to Chas. Lloyd WERTZ and his wife Katherine SCHMITT. They were married in 1924 and had one daughter that I know of Bettie WERTZ in Apr 1926. Chas. parents Winfield and Harriet Alice CLAAR were originally from Bedford Co. but appeared on the 1910 census for Altoona, Blair Co. Both Chas. and Katherine were previously married, but spouses were not on their marriage record at the Hollidaysburg Courthouse. I believe Chas. died in Beaverdale.

If you can add anything more or check the records at the library for an obit for Charles and or Katherine on your next visit, I'd be most grateful! I have no idea if Bettie married. It's possible that she is still living.
