Monohan is one of those names that can be spelled/misspelled many ways
including
Monahan
Monaghan
Monoghan
and even Moynihan

The different spellings mean something if you go back in Irish clan
names but if they are a result of misspellings/phonetic 'compositions',
etc., you just have to dig, dig, dig.... And don't rule out anything.
