I have posted the following on the Cambria Co. Obit page. Want desperately
to establish ancestry of this Henry Boyer and wife Catherine -- can't seem
to fit them into any lines currently in print with the Assn. of American
Boyers publications. Henry & Catherine lived in Stoneycreek Twp Somerset Co.
and were prob. m. abt 1810. Children were Adam b. abt 1813; Joseph b. abt
1814; Henry Jr. b. abt 1819; Harriet b. 1824; Solomon b. 1827; Julia Ann b.
1831; Margaret b. abt 1832; Lavinia b. abt 1833. Several of the children and
the parents eventually moved to Cambria Co. Speculation on maiden name of
Catherine is Beck/Becky/Beckley/Berkey/ Beachy.
Have connected with some descendants of this family but know there are
others still living in Cambria County area. Any help appreciated!

HENRY BOYER
Wednesday, October 11, 1876 - Johnstown Tribune
In East Conemaugh, on Monday last, died Mr. Henry Boyer, at the advanced age
of eighty-one years. For a long time he had been an invalid, and, as his
circumstances were very much reduced, he became a partial charge on the
county, although kind neighbors assisted him along in a very charitable
manner. His wife died about a month ago, after a long illness. This aged
couple owned a small piece of land in Richland Township, which was recently
sold by the Almshouse authorities for $140, and the proceeds will pay the
funeral expenses, besides leaving a small balance. The remains of Mr. Boyer
and wife were laid away to rest in Singer's burying ground.
(NOTE: Henry Boyer was b. abt 1788; thus his age would have been abt 88
years at his death. Wife Catherine nee unknown was b. abt 1790 and d. on
Saturday, July 20, 1876, at the age of abt. 87 years)
