First I want to verify that these dates are correct - Lewis was born abt 1800, Catherine Shaffer abt 1806. 2nd Wife Elizabeth Seese died 1918 age 72, so born abt 1846, so when she married Lewis in 1866, he was 66 and she was 20? Did this marriage occur in Pa or Kansas?

I have many Shaffers thru a Custer connection, but don't have a record of this Catherine. Do you know the names of her parents?

Seese is also an ancestor, I have about a dozen Elizabeth Seeses, but I do have one born abt 1846 (per census), d/o William Seese & Sarah Berkey of Paint Twp. She is age 4 in 1850, not listed in 1870 (I don't yet have 1860). Do you know if this is Lewis' 2nd wife?
