I'm trying to sort out information on the children of John G.
(1770-1861) and Catherine Lechler (sp?) (1772-1862) Miller who were
among the early parishoners of St. Michael's, Loretto. In the Ledoux
volumes I have found baptismal records for Mary Ann, Joseph, John G.
Jr., Margaret, and Henry (who I am descended from). I have also comes
across records that include Anthony, Catherine, and Mathilda that
suggest they are also children of John G. and Catherine.

Does anyone know if the Joseph Miller who married Anna Ritter on 15 Feb.
1836 is the child of John G. and Catherine? Or is the Joseph Miller
listed in the 1850 Carrolltown census (married to Mary (Glass per
Ledoux) with children Margaret, Susan, John, Mary, Christopher, and
Rebecca) the son of John G. and Catherine? Or are these two the same
person and Mary is his second wife?

Is Catherine Miller married to Benjamin Eckenrode a daughter of John G.
and Catherine?
Is Anthony Miller married to Theresa Durbin their son? Are there any
other children I've overlooked?

Any information would be greatly appreciated including referrals to
books I might be able to get on inter-library loan. Ledoux's books have
been very helpful, but there are many omissions and mistakes in the
records and even when I try to cross-reference with the census, there
are always more questions!
