Hi everyone,
I have been researching some family that I thought was buried at Grandview cemetery in Johnstown..the one on Menoher blvd. When I wrote them, then didn't respond, so the other day I was in Johnstown and stopped in. The lady explained that the letter puzzled her. She had neither the person or the section there. Then we determined that someplace called St. Johns, a church in the Scalp Avenue area, had merged with another church (St. Joseph's?) and that they had a cemetery. It might be called Grandview. Does anyone from that area know where this is or anything about it? They gave me a phone number (536 exchange) but I wanted to know a little bit about it before I contacted them so I won't sound so stupid. The people I am searching for are Peter and Margaret (Bevil) Swanson.
