I have seen it spelled this way and many other ways...so I would guess you
are indeed looking for the TB sanitarium. Later it was part of an orphange
(my cousin was adopted from there in 1949). It is now a State prison.

Wish I would have had this name last week (and that you had given a time
frame) since I was looking at the 1910 and 1920 census of the area and all
the patients at the sanitorium are listed on the census...I think there were
600+ names.......so if you have access to the census take a look! If you
don't have access to the cenus I'll be going back to the FHC (in
Hollidaysburg) as soon as I can (school starts next week so it limits my
time there!) so if you tell me a time frame I'll gladly look for
you.........
