Searching for information on the Byers / Boyers family that lived in Green Twp, Indiana County, PA in the 1810 - 1840 timeframe. I know that there was a John (Boyer) Byers, Sr, a John, Jr., and a Lydia who was born 19 Feb 1819. Lydia married my GGGrandfather, George Wissinger, on 22 March 1840 and in the 1840 Census they lived in Green Twp. They later lived in Cambria County and were parents to eight children. In 1870 Lydia, a widow, moved to Blair County with 4 of her children. She died there on 9 Jan 1872.

Any information on this Byers / Boyers Family would be greatly appreciated. I am posting this message to the Indiana, Cambria and Blair County lists, so if you are subscribed to these lists, please excuse the multiple postings.
