Hello to all,

The following people were some of the 19th century emigrants to the state of
Pennsylvania whose original homeland was located in the German state of
Bavaria. After their arrival to America, these emigrants settled in the
Pennsylvania towns of ALTOONA, located in Blair County, and CARROLLTOWN,
located in Cambria County. Their Bavarian villages of origin were found to
be in the vicinity of Deggendorf, located in the middle and eastern section
of Bavaria called Niederbayern.

These emigrants were people I have found while working on my own
Pennsylvania/Niederbayern genealogy research, and are provided here to
possibly help others who are doing research in these Pennsylvania towns.
