Will someone please explain the use of the word YEOMAN, in a deed, written in
1824. I know it can mean a farmer, but is there any other connection applied
to it? Also why would a deed be written 1828, witnessed 1830 and recorded in
1837?? Thanks for any knowledgeable help.--Mary
