After researching the Mahan-Reese line in Cambria for several years, I found
a third cousin purely by accident who filled me in on the family several
generations back and he mentioned his nephew ( a history professor) had fully
researched the family. Calls to this person have never been answered although I
left a message asking for only five minutes of his time. What methods has anyone
else used in this situation. Is it three calls and you're out ? - should I try
to find his address and send a letter-any advise would be helpful-Barbara (
Madison,Wi.)
