Hello,
I noticed in this previous email , that Philip NOON was mentioned, and he
was a Court Clerk at the Orphans Court.
Did I understand this correctly? I have read that when my own ancestor,
Felix Short b. 1799 IR, came to Cambria Co. about 1840, that he bought land
from Judge NOON.
Is this then Judge Philip Noon, who as of 1830 was a Clerk of the Court, and
then advanced up to Judge?
Anyone researching Judge Noon?
Best regards,
Lillian Kathleen Martin
